Passions

Inspiration: In keeping with traditions that red is the color of love, this decorative pillow expresses “Passions” via a deep red-wine silk that is substantial in texture yet yields a high sheen when light is cast upon it. The symbolism is not accidental – true love is solid and ever-dependable, hence the thick softness of the base deep red fabric. Once seen, love shines beyond all else, hence the shimmer embedded in the fabric color, further enhanced by subtle gold and silver sequins and beaded decorations that catch the light playfully. “Passions” is a throw pillow made to display love, in all its substance, shine, and playful courtship.

Description: Thick raw silk in a deep wine red makes up the base of this decorative pillow. The front panel is adorned with tiny silver beads, encircled by gold threads and threaded sequins, sewn scattered across the panel to catch the light and further add shine to the already shimmering red of the fabric itself. “Passions” is a flamboyant and festive decorative pillow, made for gifts, for entertaining, to “dress up” a room – and yet it remains elegantly subtle enough to be used everyday. The back panel is made of the same solid deep red silk, without the decorations, for comfortable use. Pure cotton lining in a matching red adds to the durability of this beautiful throw pillows – the hidden zipper is dyed to match to make inserts removable for easy cleaning, as with all of our pillows.
